There is absolutely no shortage of people who enjoy reading.
The TCU Library held its first annual event, "My Five Favorite Books" in conjunction with National Library Week, April 14-20. We asked the TCU community one simple question: What are your Five Favorite Books? The response was FANTASTIC! from students to faculty to staff.
We created a poster for each person who answered the question. The Five Favorite Books posters were on exhibit in the library lobby March 25 through April 20, 2013, and virtually. You can see the posters on our Five Favorite Books poster webpage. What a great opportunity to start your summer reading list!
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and promote library use and support. Visit the ALA's website for more information on National Library Week.
