Who Loves the Library more?
It's been said third time's a charm, but the second time isn't too shabby, especially when it comes to hearing how much the students LOVE the TCU Library.
The Library provided me with a comfortable and quiet environment that was perfect for me cramming during finals.

To claim the grand prize, students hit the ground running to fill out a red paper heart when the dates of the second annual "I Love the TCU Library" contest were announced. It didnt take long for the hearts to camouflage the wall of the library lobby as students expressed their love for the Mary Couts Burnett Library.
The Library is a great resource. When my computer broke down this semester, it was very convenient that it was open 24 hours. I wouldn't have made it through finals otherwise

Students were encouraged to test their creative skills by writing on red paper hearts, located in the lobby, why they love the library and how it has contributed to their academic success. After two weeks of entries, the winners were notified via e-mail and their names and photos were posted on the library's Facebook page and website on Valentine's Day.
I went to the library a lot to use my free prints because it made it easier to print off projects and notes that required a lot of paper or color. Also, it made it easier during finals when I needed a quiet place to study.

"I had an absolute blast judging the hearts from our students," said Sallie Wilmoth, judging committee. "I was impressed with the many creative entries and they were so fun to read."
The Library is my go-to place when I need somewhere quiet to study, but it's also a great place to meet for group projects or using my free prints.

The judging committee selected the winners: Bobby Pendry, first place; Ashley Rea, second place; Audry Kromer, third place; and Elizabeth St. Laurent, honorable mention.
