Pub-Trivia Night
Students, faculty and staff flexed their brain muscles and jeered at other teams as they competed to win Pub-Trivia Night
at the Library.
It was a packed house for trivia and pizza as eleven teams were quizzed on their “superhero” knowledge, competing
in multiple rounds, for the coveted first place. The teams ranged between four to seven members vying for prizes that
included gift cards to local eating establishments.
The night consisted of three rounds of 10 questions each, beginning with easy questions, then progressing to most
difficult. In between rounds, teams participated in a “Lightening” series to earn additional points. It’s true to say, the night
got a bit loud, crazy and fun!
“My favorite thing about trivia night is the camaraderie,” said TCU freshman Anna Baggs. “It is so much fun to get
together with your friends, and not think about school.”
Team “Dust” won First Place; team “Purple Reign” took second place, and “Flat Earthers” came in third place.
Pub-Trivia Night seeks to cultivate a sense of community among TCU students and faculty while giving librarians a
chance to build relationships with them in a casual setting.
As a result of the popularity of Pub-Trivia, the Library has decided to make this a regular shindig!
