President's Welcome
Hello and welcome to the Friends of the TCU Library! As President of the Friends, I am looking forward to another exciting year!
The Friends of the TCU Library is an organization dedicated to promoting and enriching the resources, services and operations of the TCU Mary Couts Burnett Library. The Friends organization also provides opportunities for members to get acquainted with each other through a series of programs each year. Past events featured notable authors, faculty presentations, artists, annual dinners, the Texas Book Award Banquet, and various reception events. Although current circumstances prevent us from gathering in person, we will continue to support our Library through virtual events and activities.
Since its founding in 1972, the Friends of the TCU Library has committed to helping the library maintain excellence by providing funds for reference materials, books, rare books, and continues to provide much-needed support for equipment. In 2020, the TCU Mary Couts Burnett Library adjusted its operations to ensure that educational resources can be accessed both virtually and safely in person. We will continue to fund many worthwhile projects for the library.
You can best support the efforts of the TCU Mary Couts Burnett Library by joining us as a member.
I hope to see you at the library soon!
