We will begin fall semester with images and material displayed on the Interactive Roger Rainwater
Wall related to the current TCU theme year. One of the academic initiatives with Laura Steinbach
TCU’s Academy of Tomorrow is the introduction of theme years. Theme years
encourage TCU faculty and students to create new courses or to modify existing Stay Connected With Us
courses to encompass themes with broad perspectives across the curriculum.
The first theme year relates to WATER. The displays on the Interactive Wall Facebook: facebook.com/tculibrary
will give viewers a chance to see information related to TCU faculty research, Twitter: @tculibrary
student projects, library collections and library staff activities related to water. YouTube: youtube.com/user/TCULibrary101
The Interactive Wall is still in design so there aren’t visuals we can show you yet
but we are excited about the opportunity this gives us. As the years go by, the
Interactive Wall will have new displays related to new theme years. Topics such
as energy and food are examples of theme years to come.
I know you will enjoy visiting us for our grand opening later in the fall. When
you come, explore the Interactive Wall!
